来也匆匆, 去也匆匆......
What am I talking about? It's holiday.....so hard to believe that it's the last day at home before going back to USM again. Haiz...wonder why it seems to pass so fast, it seems that I have done nothing in the past 2 weeks....let me recall my holiday.....
The first familiar word I got to admit is hospital. Of course I am not sick. It's my grandma and mother. One is sick while another is going for follow up check up. Thank god, both are soundly healthy. Hospital had taken up 3 days of my holiday though I felt the time well spent in the hospital.
Outing? Seriously, even though I had 2 weeks holiday, the only serious outing came during early holiday, when I celebrated the birthday of beloved STEVE. Haha!! Secret Recipe!! KFC!! and Deffrey's house...nice outing indeed...
What's next? 2 days 1 night Langkawi trip. The last time I went to Langkawi was when I was standard 5. Since then, lots of things had changed there. Last time, I went by plane but this time I went by ferry via Kuala Kedah. A bouncy 2 hours trip and I stepped on Langkawi. We had out tourguide, Jin Wei's friend. We stayed at Malibest Resort. Hah, thanks a lot to him. During the 2 days, we went to Galeria Perdana, where we took photos even though it is not allowed =P. Then, it's time for a boat trip where we visited Gua Kelawar, fish rearing area and also watching eagle. Another interesting one was the cable car, which was absolutely new to me and also famous for its steepness. Lots of fun during the cable car trip, where I had the best view of Langkawi at the extended corridor only reachable by stairs in the mountain and also only supported by a big pole. At night, we only took a walk near the resort and something very interesting happened indeed. I was not going to elaborate here but it was sonehow related to we playing cards that night. In the end, I was given a very special task when I went back to USM. Haha!! We also had some alcoholic drinks that night....
The second day was a simple one. A nice breakfast at The Breakfast Bar before playing water at the nicest beach in Langkawi, Pantai Cenang. Then, we checked out and went to Underwater World, which has new attraction compared to my last visit there. The PENGUIN!! How cute, unforgettable...Then, we headed back to the jetty to take the ferry back and there ended my trip to Langkawi.
How about the most meaningful event during the holiday? Definitely it's the farewell of one of my good friend, Jia Wern...I did not even remember when was the last time I met her. However, I felt lucky that I had the last chance to meet her before she flew to Northern Ireland. I met her in the airport. The last day she stayed in Malaysia. So many people came to the airport. Just friends alone already 16 of us. Expectedly, she missed all of us and also her family member so much that she cried out so sadly in the airport. During that time, the atmosphere was so down and I guess everybody has sinking heart as well. Anyway, all the best to her in Northern Ireland!!
I guess that summed up my half meaningful holiday. Tomorrow I will be back at USM campus. I had such a mixed feeling now. I will miss everything at home, the nice bed, the nice food...and I had missed things in USM also. My friend, coursemate, all the activities...Haha, whatever, as long as I juggle my time well between family, friends and university life...I am enjoying my life every moment. I can hope for nothing more, except that......
I WANT MORE TIME FOR MY HECTIC LIFE!!!!

August track back
OH, freak!!! When I looked at my blog tracer, I only realise that how long I had not signed in into my blog. In fact, I do not have any single post in the month of August. Miss August, so sorry to you that I have somehow ignored you. It is not that I wanted to ignore you but I do not have time to cherish your life a bit...Even though I had not been seen from the blog for more than a month, nonetheless my life had been so wonderful and colourful, hah, lots of things going on actually during the whole month and I enjoy every bit of the activity =)
Actually, the life at university is not about always study to achieve perfect result. Although I had decided to take on such a tough course - chemical engineering, I had tried to flourish my life with other university activities, such as 华协之夜, 下乡团, 小草颂 and 中秋晚会.
华协之夜 signals the start of my busy August. It is the starting activity for 华协 every year. 华协 is the chinese society allowed in USM engineering campus. Basically, 华协之夜 is a night where all chinese, especially first year student gather around for some 联宜. During that night, there are quite some activities, such as performance by litlegras ( musical group ) , group ice breaking and also the hottest event of the night, the choosing of 校花 and 校草 of USM engineering campus. For that event, every school in USM engineering campus chooses a boy and a girl to represent their respective schools to compete for the award. Though my school did not win it this year, I still supported them. They had tried their best and we all knew it. Credit to ARNOLD WIRYANTO and LIM SIN YEN.
小草颂, known as litlegras, is the musical club in USM engineering campus. It consists of management team and also musical team. I, who had interest in music, of course had entered litlegras. I joined the keyboard and composer for the musical team and I joined Interaction and Event Coordinator (IEC) for the management team. All the classes for the keyboard and composer had started. Even IEC had already got the first event planned, litlegras family day. Unfortunately, the event had fallen on the wrong time, the weekend before the tests. Guess what, the attendance for the family is cruel... ToT....Credit to the chemical 2nd year student, haha, without you, this event will not be successful already. Chemical School, HOU!! HOU!! That day we really enjoy a lot and I also learnt a lot from this event. Nice!!
下乡团, yet another activity I join in USM. I have been waiting for this thing for a long time as I really would like to embark on the experience which I think would be nice, especially with small kids around and also nice people to mingle around with. Well, the real 下乡 event have not started, it was just 下乡传承营. This camp is basically about learning how to 下乡 only. And it was like about playing games, haha, a lot of group activities done, like station games and group performances. Now I have a new name, 小马子, pony, haha...Do not question me how I got this name, haha!! And I have another event to look forward to, 下乡培训营, an event organised by the USM main campus. Really looking forward towards it ^^
The update on mooncake festival will not be put inside here as the event is not yet over. However, lots of stuffs about that also, hehe, keep looking foward to it...^^

Actvities all day long
Ever since I came back from Kem Pimpin Siswa from Sungai Siput, my hectic life still went on and on. I had used a lot of time to understand the stuffs being taught. I wished I had more time each day. Anyway, I am still happy with my current lifestyle as I enjoy my life in USM as well as the time being together with all the course mate.
The most notable thing after the camp was the meetings with the seniors from my own course, chemical engineering. I had had 3 meetings with 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year senior in 3 different occasions on 3 different days. The purpose of the meeting with senior actually is to let us know who is our 'abang' or 'kakak' or in english, direct senior.
The meeting with the 3rd year senior came first. It was at night just outside the hostel and BHEPP office. We were told to introduce ourselves and then guess our own direct senior. After that, there was a session where we juniors talked with our own direct seniors. I had one abang from the 3rd year. It happened that he was from my same secondary school and also a friend of my sister. Haha!
The 2nd meeting was with the 4th year senior. It was also at night, at the rumah persatuan near the 2nd gate of USM. Again we were told to introduce ourselves and guess our direct senior. This time those who got it wrong would had 2 put in a performance for the senior to enjoy. Lucky though I had known from the 3rd year abang that my 4th year 'kakak' was not there that night as she was busy with the Chem-e-car competition. The seniors tried to trick me off and I did not fall into their trap. The bad side is that I did not meet my 'kakak'. I heard she was the 'flower' for her year. Cannot wait to meet her...P/S : I have no bad intention, just to meet senior for chatting...
The last meeting was with the 2nd year senior. The place was a common place for me. It's mengkuang dam.I had not been there for more than a year. When I reached there, I was in a state of shock. I had never seen so much flies there. Thousands and thousands of flies swarming around. Anyway, things moved on. The same process again as the first 2 meetings. I got an 'abang' again. Just this time there were extra activities. Some games had been set up and we were distributed into groups. I felt very lucky. My group did not lose a single match. After that, we went for dinner at Taman Sri Rambai before going back to campus.
Well, I am looking forward towards the 'family' dinner with my 'abang' and 'kakak'. Anyway, life goes on first so I will sign off here as I have lots of stuffs to carry on. Till then...

Busy yet busy...
I have been busy since the university life started. From the start of the orientation, till now - the second week of studying, I had not been able to find extra time to do other stuffs like blogging. I tried my best but I just cannot quite achieve that still. I find a little bit of time to activate my blog a bit now. Lol...
The orientation had passed with some nice activities. Among them are Pendaftaran Siswa Baru, Majlis Sambutan Siswa, Taklimat Desasiswa, Hari Bersama Pusat Pengajian in which I managed to win a free text book from the lecturer when my group won from a group activity, Jamuan Bersama Timbalan Naib Canselor, and also registration of courses for this semester, which I had taken 7 courses.
After the first week, it's time for Pimpin Siswa that I had waited so long for. I was sent to a camp in Sungai Siput, Perak. The name is Cinta Alam Kelimat camp. The duration was 3 days, from 16-18. I had had lots of fun at the camp. I had chance to meet people from USM main campus. I had the chance to meet back my old friend, Deffrey. The activities there were also full of fun. Jungle trekking at 2am, group competitions, group discussion, group presentation and group performance which all were closely related to sustainability.
That was what had happened to me after starting university life. I got to end here as more stuffs await me ahead. Till then........

Farewell yet farewell
June, the mid month of the year, a month with lots of fun, a month with lots of activities, and... a month with so much farewell to bid.
Since matriculation programme ended, I had been enjoying 2 and a half month holiday at home. I had had numerous outings with my friends. I had been enjoying every bit of futsal moments. I had even went for a trip to Genting Highlands and also KL. Even though I missed the chance of the two trips to Penang with my friends, at least I did not miss the farewell meeting with one of my friend, Jimmy Chin Ket Meng.
Yesterday was the day. The venue was Sunway Carnival Mall. As usual, I had been the first one to arrive at the place again. I was too early that I managed to get a free drink and also a chat with Hee Geok. Then, finally the main character was here. Jimmy Chin. So, there were 8 persons on total. Ket Meng, Zhao Xuan, Jian An, Jun Wei, Yong Lin, Yong Sheng, Wang Ching and also me. Finally all people arrived and gathered inside Parkson. Then Hee Geok joined us for a chat plus a meal at Sunway food court. Jimmy Chin is so handsome that when I tried to take a photo of him, he wont look at me either. Haha!

The farewell gathering ended here for me as they went for a movie and the time did not fit mine. However, I still had a fun time with them. So all the best to all my friends and also Jimmy. Hehe, farewell to him, who will go to UMS for further study.
The farewell does not just end here. I will bid farewell to my long holiday too. A farewell too to my long slacking lifestyle. Lastly, I will bid farewell to the month of June of course. It is the last day of June. Then everything will start all over again as I enter university. So, I look forward towards the next chapter of my life. Till then...

Luck Around June
Good luck...bad luck...good luck...bad luck...I am not trying those 'pluck the flower petal' sort of thing. It is just that since the month of June started, a lot of things had happened around me. Most of them are based on a bit of luck.
The month started with a good thing. I had been offered a place in USM. That would be a good thing no doubt. I was given the course I want, chemical engineering. The place is near to my house too. I could not ask for anything better. I even know quite a lot of persons going USM already so adapting to that place would not be as hard as it might be.
Then came the bad luck. My friend and the gang were planning a trip to Penang. That would be the last time we met before entering university. Two plans had been drafted. First is the one night stay at Penang Berjaya George Town Hotel. Second is the 3 days 2 nights trip. On the first day there will be a trip out to sea by ship. On the second day, there will be a camping outing at Pantai Kerachut. The bad luck is that I cannot attend for both events. What a let down! It is not that I am not getting permission. Worse still, I did not even see the chance to ask for permission for days. So in the end I gave up trying to get permission. I will not be able to meet my firends for the final time before entering university.
Then, it was the time for UPU. I had nothing to do with this already as I had already accepted USM offer. However, I would still like to know what my friends could get. This time, all the lucks, good or bad, played around with us. Some got what they want. Some did not get what they longed for. Here I congratulate those getting what they want and also feel so sorry for those not granted their dream. Anyway, hope everybody will work hard after entering university as life will still goes on.
Bad luck struck again. I injured my leg when I played futsal with my friend. 3 injuries to my right leg summed up my bad day last Friday. Then, I was told that the lampiran J in the USM website actually contained something. I wondered how my friend opened the thing as nobody seemed to be able to gain access to that lampiran. After I read the lampiran I only realised that I had so much things to prepare for USM still in terms of certified documents. So, I immediately prepared the documents to be certified only to find out that the principal was not at school the whole week. There was not much time left and the principal was not in. WTH!
Good luck and bad luck had been all around me the whole month. I guess that is life, with high and low always striking. So I can hope for the better from now on. University life is going to start soon. So, all the best to all my friends entering university. May god bless you all and wish lady luck always smiles on our side. Lastly, hope we all do cross path again in the future.
ADIOS!
